labor day weekend
It was a good Labor-Day weekend. Aside from the heat (100+degree days all weekend) the holiday was great.
Saturday started off with a little bonus - I received a check for $104.00. Microsoft reimbursed me for the repairs I had done on my xbox 360 earlier this year! I paid rent, did some shopping, and gamed most of the night.
I drove up to Hesperia and visited my parents on Sunday. It was nice - I washed my car and watched a terrible movie with my dad, "Snakes on a Plane" - mom made some ribs for dinner. I met up with my friend Cory, his wife Sarah, his sister in law and a friend of theirs at "Pink Berry" in the Victoria Gardens mall.
If you didn't know already, Pink Berry sells frozen yogurt with cereal and fruit toppings. So, you get a little cup of plain old yogurt and they put your choice of Cap'n Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, Fruit Loops, etc. on top. They are popular around LA and always have huge lines. I wasn't too impressed. I shouldn't eat yogurt anyway, it hurts my stomach :( It was great to see Cory and his Wife - I rarely get to hang out with them.
