About

"My name is Ryan Langelier. I'm a 28 year old computer animator/designer living in Hollywood, CA. I'm a complex guy - nothing simple or basic. I like creativity, technology, nostalgia, and I'm bursting with sarcasim. Enjoy my blog!"

video.

Two videos I watched this morning...

The website calls it an "interactive installation" named Shadow Monsters. The description on their website reads:
"magical monsters appear from shadows cast by the hands of participants, reacting to gestures with sound and animation."
Cool stuff - hope to see more of this - www.worthersoriginal.com

The second clip is from a film by the French duo Daft Punk, titled Electroma...

The film is about the journey of two robots and their quest to become human. Not sure what the flaming guy has to do with anything, but its a cool clip - I'm always a sucker for slow-motion. From what I've read about it, none of the music in the film is by Daft Punk.

blah.

First off, I'm concerned with the fact that the man aflame doesn't appear to be concerned with his predicament.

Secondly, is the animation from the first vid' done on the fly, or is that done post? If it's done on the fly than that is pretty slick. All kinds of cool stuff could be possible. top
