Gonzo Fiction finally released their first album, "Way Past Desperate"! I received my copy in the mail earlier today and as I always do when I get a new CD/DVD or video game - I ripped off the plastic packaging... pulled off the security sticker (then re-stuck it to the back of the case) and flipped through the included booklet. To my surprise, Jessie put my name in there!

If you haven't heard Gonzo Fiction yet - check em out! They are a group of talented guys I grew up with in the desert and are starting to gain a lot of momentum. They have a few tracks up on their myspace page - listen to Turbocharged Sex Machine and I guarantee it will cause you to thrust/dance/gyrate!

This is a screen shot from a scene I was working on last week. I still can't chat about the project, but as soon as I am allowed - I will post some video of the episodes we have completed.
I haven't had the time to blog for over a month now. Plenty of things have happened in the last month that were more than blog-worthy, I just haven't made the time to write about them. The time I previously used for updating this blog was while I was at work - when I had down time or while my computer was rendering. Lately I have only had time to animate. While the current project we are working on is time consuming, tedious, and relentless - I am having fun with it overall. We've been getting some great help and whenever we bring different animators into the mix - it tends to push me to work harder.
Episode three was a tough one for me - I had a ten second scene that was kicking my ass for nearly all of last week. We are starting episode four of six today. The scenes I have are a bit easier in comparison to the previous three, so I am looking forward to getting ahead.
